Last summer, I resolved to be super diligent and study in the library everyday! I gave up after three days. However, during those three days I found an awesome book of Van Gogh's paintings and drawings. I tried to make accurate compositional studies of his work, but I ended up just making my own compositions. Today I dug out my old drawings and made more variations of those compositions ^^^

van gogh looked at a lot of hiroshige and japanese prints, those are really good to study from
